Let me ask you something before we even get into money. When you ask how do I make money, what are you actually asking? Because most of the time, you’re not asking about strategy—you’re asking because you’re tired.
So let’s switch the question. Just for a second.
Instead of “How do I make money?” ask this:
“What do I already have that someone would actually pay for?”
I know. That question makes people uncomfortable. That’s why it works.
Now don’t rush to answer it. Don’t brush it off with “nothing” or “I need more time” or “once I get more money first.” That’s your brain trying to keep you safe by keeping you still.
Let me ask you another one.
Who are you already around?
Who asks you for advice? Who vents to you? Who comes to you when they’re stuck?
Money doesn’t come from ideas floating in the clouds. It comes from proximity. Real people. Real problems. Real conversations that already exist in your life.
Here’s another question—this one’s important.
What comes easy to you that other people struggle with or overcomplicate?
That’s usually where your unfair advantage is hiding. Not in some course. Not in a blueprint. In the thing you almost dismiss because it feels too obvious.
And now let’s get honest.
Everybody is not meant to be an entrepreneur.
Everybody is not built for uncertainty, self-discipline, delayed gratification, or staying focused when nobody’s clapping.
And that’s okay.
You see all these YouTube stars flashing numbers like, “I made $45 million—let me show you how.” Sweetheart… no. Most of that is hype, smoke, and very selective truth. Real business is boring sometimes. Repetitive. Lonely. Unsexy.
So maybe you are built for business.
Or maybe you’re not.
Only you can answer that.
Maybe your path isn’t starting a business at all. Maybe it’s a career pivot. Maybe it’s stacking certifications. Maybe it’s a second job that funds your peace before you chase anything else.
And guess what? That still counts.
I know I said a lot. That’s fine.
